Caspar - Fabulous Powerpop Two-sider
This one's a bit Twilley and a bit Eric Carmen. Caspar Giles McCloud is American but this single was recorded at 10CC's Strawberry Studios. My friend Andy found this one a few years back. I have Caspar's Lp on Atlantic from a few years later and it's not very good. Notice how the intros to the two tunes are virtually identical...

Hi
It's a great single. It's been reissued by Vinyl Countdown -www.vinylcountdownrecords.com
I am also reviewing it on my blog: http://purepop1uk.blogspot.com
with lots of other 3 minute classic reviews
All the best
Robin
Isn't Caspar British? Didn't he move to the States to be Lennon in the Beatlemania stageshow? Or have I lost the plot?
By the way, I need a copy of the original UK 7" with the hand-painted numbered sleeve. Anyone?
Cheers,
Steve
Casper is a complete fake! He's not British and he never played Lennon in Beatlemania. He's a looney bin escapee!!
anonymous is full of it... He was born in the states and moved when he was a baby to england. And he DID play lennon on broadway. read his Nothing is Impossible.
I was with Beatlemania throughout the entire run on Broadway. This guy NEVER did ONE show! As a matter of fact, I have never heard of him at all until today. Time for him and his people to be honest without all the wild exaggerations, hyperboles and lies that are being thrown around.
